If you’re having problems viewing the “.htaccess” file in your Aptana Studio 3 connections, here’s a quick set of steps to get you to be able to view it properly.
Under the “Project Explorer” tab, click on the small downward arrows and a drop-down menu will appear:
Click on the “Customize View” option, and a dialogue box will appear:
Un-check the box next to “.* files” and click the “OK” button.
Your connection/file view should refresh and now include a list of all files, including the “.htaccess” file. If you’re still having issues seeing the file, you may need to contact your host provider to make sure you have access.
