The Swim – Redux

The new version being created …

I believe the only one who can call a creation of work “art” is the artist. You don’t have to appreciate someone’s work before it becomes “art” – it’s all about the creative process of the artist.

I’m always looking for new outlets of expression and trying new media to create. Part of the learning (always learning) is experimenting with new avenues for translating and recording the life around me, and the thoughts and feelings inside.

This rebuild of an older piece of work is a good example. I’ve stirred up old thoughts and feelings from several years ago, mixed new vision into it, and have created something new.
