Winamp Classic Skins

For a period of time in 2003, I created a few Winamp Classic skins. Although the modern skin of Winamp is much better than these, I decided to place these on my site for historical purposes. If you download and use any of these, please let me know! “Embryo – Fetus in a Jar” is the one I would recommend most.

Download & Installation Instructions

1. The Winamp Media Player is required to use one of these skins, and must be on a Windows platform (sorry Mac users!).
2. Skins are downloaded as a “.zip” file. Rename this “.zip” file to have a “.wsz” extension.
3. Open/double-click the “.wsz” file and you will be automatically prompted to install it.
4. The skin files are then copied (installed) to your C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\ folder.
5. Start the Winamp player. Right-click on a blank place on the body of the player, choose “Skins” from the menu and select the skin you wish to use.
